As Hannah’s boyfriend was spending some time outside, a little kitten came running towards him from a nearby alley. The kitten seemed to be in distress and was meowing loudly. Upon closer inspection, it was discovered that the poor thing was covered in dirt and fleas and looked quite weak. However, they soon found out that the kitten was not alone.
Upon hearing the commotion, Hannah stepped outside to investigate. She was met with the sight of a small kitten meowing and purring incessantly. Just as she was about to pick up the little feline and bring it indoors, the sound of tiny feet alerted her to the presence of another kitten quickly approaching. Without hesitation, Hannah scooped up both kittens and brought them inside, recognizing that they were in need of assistance.
Hannah decided to give the two troublemakers, who she named Theon and Yara, the love and attention they deserved. Being an animal enthusiast, Hannah and her boyfriend noticed that the two were in dire need of care. The poor creatures were infested with fleas, so they were given multiple baths to get rid of the pesky bugs and provided with a cozy bed to snuggle in. Hannah and her boyfriend also made sure to feed them properly, which Yara devoured without hesitation. However, Theon’s condition was deteriorating rapidly.
After feeling extremely sluggish, Hannah took the necessary precautions by wrapping him up in a towel and placing him on top of a heating pad. She made sure he was well hydrated and tried to boost his morale as much as possible. Thankfully, he eventually bounced back and perked up.
Hannah noticed that Theon had developed a liking for both the bottle and KMR. Yara, on the other hand, purred loudly while drinking some diluted wet food. As a result, they both drifted off to sleep. Following that, Hannah introduced Theon to baby food and chicken broth. Before she knew it, he was climbing up her legs and meowing loudly, having finally found his voice.
When she woke up the next morning, she was greeted by the sound of two hungry kittens meowing for food. Despite feeding them at 2:00 am, they were still demanding more. “It’s been quite a ride,” she thought to herself. Initially, she was worried that Yara wouldn’t make it through the night. Then, Theon suddenly became lethargic. But now, both kittens were up and energetic, happily munching away on their food and playing like typical kittens.
Hannah took her kittens to the vet for a checkup and both of them received a clean bill of health, thanks to her loving care and attention. The vet was pleased with their progress, stating “These little guys are doing fantastic!”
Both Theon and Yara received continuous care from Uncle Bruce’s assistance, who was always around to help. However, Hercules, the cat, did not want anything to do with them. Uncle Bruce made sure that they didn’t wander too far from the bed.
Upon her initial encounter with the kittens, they appeared famished, soiled, and infested with fleas. One of them, in particular, seemed to be on the brink of death. However, at present, the kittens seem content and affectionate.
After being nourished and energized, they have finally discovered their permanent residence.
