Prior to her rise to fame in movies, Angelina Jolie’s career began as a model showcasing swimwear.
Angelina Jolie, the Hollywood actress who is currently getting divorced from her ex-husband Brad Pitt, is also known for her humanitarian work and being a mother to her six children. However, Jolie has always had a passion for the entertainment industry, even before she became a household name. Recently, some photos from a 1991 photoshoot have surfaced, showing a 16-year-old Jolie modelling a beautiful satin-sheer pink bikini. She looked stunning while flaunting her modelling skills and her trademark plumped lips. Interestingly, unlike her current iconic look, Jolie’s skin in the pictures was free of any tattoos.

Angelina Jolie is famous for her extensive tattoo collection, which spans across her upper back and consists of over 12 designs. Although she briefly worked as a teenage model, this paved the way for her successful career in acting. Jolie’s portrayal of Gia Marie Carangi in the biographical film Gia, released by HBO in 1998, remains one of her most iconic roles.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Angelina Jolie has always harbored a passion for acting. She first stepped into the limelight in 1982 with her role in Looking’ To Get Out alongside her father, the actor Jon Voight. In 21, she tied the knot with her first husband, the actor Jonny Lee Miller. However, their marriage ultimately ended in divorce in 2000. Later that same year, she married Billy Bob Thornton, known for his role in Friday Night Lights. Unfortunately, their marriage also came to an end in 2003. It wasn’t until two years later that Angelina began dating Brad Pitt after meeting him on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith, an action-packed blockbuster.
Back in 2014, the couple got married after spending nine years together. During their wedding, they were surrounded by their six children. However, in 2016, they decided to go their separate ways. In an interview with Vanity Fair last year, Angelina talked about their divorce and how they still hold each other and their family in high regard. She also mentioned that she did not want her children to worry about her as she did when she was young, watching her mother suffer. Angelina believes it’s essential to be strong in front of her kids and reserve her tears for private moments. She wants her children to feel secure and confident that everything will be alright, even when things seem uncertain.
